URSI Awards
The URSI awards are presented at the Opening Ceremony of the URSI General Assembly.
The "senior" awards are the Balthasar van der Pol Gold Medal, the John Howard Dellinger Gold Medal, the
Appleton Prize, and the Booker Gold Medal, and the "junior" award is the Koga Gold Medal.

Balthasar van der Pol Gold Medal

Issac Koga Gold Medal

Citation: "Contributions to the analytical, numerical and experimental study of printed antennas and phased arrays, and related problems in applied electromagnetics.".
John Howard Dellinger Medal
Dr. R. GENDRIN, France
Citation: "Study of waves of natural origin propagating in the surroundings of the Earth, and their influence on the behaviour of the magnetosphere.".
