URSI makes available several publications, newsletters and journals. Some of the publications involve Radio Science, Radio Science Bulletin, URSI white papers, URSI sponsored journals. They are often made available for download on this site.

The Young Scientist Awards are presented at the General Assemblies of URSI and at the URSI Atlantic Radio Science Conferences (AT-RASC) to recognize an international group of individuals who have made innovative contributions and discoveries in multidiscipline research related to electromagnetic fields and waves.

The URSI awards are presented at the Opening Ceremony of the URSI General Assembly. The "senior" awards are the Balthasar van der Pol Gold Medal, the John Howard Dellinger Gold Medal, the Appleton Prize, the Booker Gold Medal and the Karl Rawer Gold Medal. The "junior" awards are the Koga Gold Medal and the Santimay Basu Prize.
